Corporate Group has developed its own in-house online management application. SMART has been designed to offer our clients the information and flexibility they require to compliment their business and provide a competitive edge.

Secure online access through your web browser.

Rather than go down the road of designing and maintaining a totally independent platform, Corporate Group decided to utilise an application nearly every business has - a web browser. This means that all you need to access SMART is a password and username.

Our web portal is secure utilising SSL technology. Each client’s data is kept separately so that you can use this tool without worrying who can gain access to your information.

Configured to each individual client’s requirements.

Each client has a unique set of requirements and needs. SMART will be configured uniquely for each client to reflect this. Reports, invoicing, access privileges and functionality can all be designed around your needs. The pages you see can even be branded with either your own or your customers’ logos.

Functionality can be added as and when business needs dictate.

Corporate Group offer a wide range of managed services. It is only right therefore that SMART has been designed in such a way as to allow clients more or less functionality depending on business needs.

Variable user profiles.

SMART has been designed to be a complete package for the management of your business. With this in mind user profiles can be set up to allow individual users differing levels of access. For example your Accounts team may need to view invoices online. Operations would need to be able to book and track jobs. User profiles are set up in such a way that each individual only sees what is relevant to them.

Real time inventory control.

Most storage and distribution companies will offer a variety of stock information, most of which is historical in nature. At best you’ll normally receive a snap shot once a day, usually once stock has stopped moving. We do not believe this is good enough or sensitive enough for today’s business environment. SMART delivers online inventory information sensitive enough to see items actually being booked in and out.

Inventory lists are available down to individual serial number level. This means inventory items can be ordered at either stock type or serial number level.

Online ordering.

Making service requests couldn’t be easier using SMART. Once you have a username and password with the correct profile, jobs can be created online. This means information can be input straight into the system which reduces errors and increases response time.

If preferred, or where large volumes of jobs are created, jobs may be added by file transfer. Information supplied by you will be imported directly into SMART. The same facilities for order tracking are available whatever the input method.

Online tracking and reporting.

Once a job is created it can be tracked via SMART to its conclusion. This is a function especially useful for ‘out of hours’ requests. You will receive an acknowledgment that the order has been placed and is in the process of being completed. Once completed, SMART is updated with delivery details to confirm completion.

Auto-Scheduling.

The efficient allocation and tracking of resources is essential to any operation if it is to be successful. SMART has an inbuilt ‘Auto-scheduling’ feature that allows jobs to be allocated to resources on the basis of the lowest cost whilst still satisfying client’s SLA requirements. The same feature also allows progress to be continually monitored by our Operation Centre to forecast when jobs may be in jeopardy well in advance so that steps can be taken to ensure SLA’s are not missed.

Online Signature Capture.

By utilising hand held PDA’s connected to SMART’s web-server via a GPRS connection confirmation jobs have been completed satisfactorily can be obtained live. As soon as the job is finished the signature is available on SMART. An e-mail can automatically be generated to the signatory with their electronic signature as further confirmation.
